You can keep up to date with the latest goings on at the Heathrow Climate Camp at Indymedia. After it was revealed that police would use anti-terrorism powers to “deal robustly” with these peaceful protestors, this has become as much a protest for democracy and political freedom as it is about climate change.

For more on why the Camp is so important, I recommend George Monbiot’s excellent analysis showing how the government’s commitment to airport expansion makes a complete mockery of its purported determination to tackle climate change (which, along with the threat of nuclear war, is surely one of the greatest threats to our security).
