Ron Paul is right about Iraq, albeit for the wrong reasons, but practically everything else he stands for is either wacky or totally hostile to social justice and progress. Hunter of DailyKos recently wrote an interesting piece along these lines.

I think Kucinich or Gravel would make a decent president, though unfortunately neither of them would win, but we can only hope.

Then there is always Ron Paul, whom I think has a chance. Even if he's on the right wing side, at least he preaches non-interventionism which can only be helpful.

I don't think Romney's got a shot - in fact, I'm fairly confident that the next President will be a Democrat (at least if they don't keep screwing up so consistently by giving in to whatever Bush demands). Clinton's in the lead in the polls at the moment, and I agree with you - she's way too hawkish for me (particularly on the questions of Israel/Palestine and Iran). Obama, Edwards etc. are hardly perfect (far from it), but I would prefer them to Clinton or a Republican. Out of all the Democrat contenders, Kucinich clearly stands out as the best, but everyone knows he hasn't got a hope. Which says a lot, really.

Gulliani is a moron, he'll never be elected, so I wouldn't worry about him too much.

It seems that he'll say anything to get more lobby dollars just to stay in power.

Lets just hope that Romney isn't the next one. Or McCain, or Hillary, or Obama or any of them.
