Well, this is interesting. Apparently, I’ve managed to piss off Fox “News” presenter/commentator Bill O’Reilly, host of the abysmal ‘The O’Reilly Factor‘. See this video:

It is essentially an attack on Daily Kos, America’s foremost liberal/Democratic blog, which he compares to the Nazis and the KKK (in reality, its intense partisanship often [...]

Oooh, look: the U.S. is going on a peace mission to bring peace to the Middle East! President Bush calls for a regional conference to restart peace talks, and gives a speech promising to “provide diplomatic support for the parties in their bilateral discussions and negotiations so that we can move forward on a successful [...]

A report by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation provides a groundbreaking geographical analysis of changes in the distribution of wealth over [...]

Good to know Tesco’s got its priorities [...]

‘The Likud chairman said “all means” should be used to prevent Iran from gaining nuclear weapons, especially economic means, “but if they do not succeed, we’ll have to consider stiffer measures,” he added.’

- Binyamin Netanyahu (leader of Israel’s Likud party, and very possibly the next Prime Minister of Israel).
In related news, an aide to [...]

An opinion poll conducted on the website of a Palestinian newspaper affiliated with Fatah – Al-Quds – has shown that if an election were held tomorrow, President Mahmoud Abbas would win only 13.47% of the votes. Deposed Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh, on the other hand, would get 51.47%. Marwan Barghouti, if released, would win [...]

Loony Watch

11Jul07

Check out this nutter (Rabbi Benny Elon, the leader of Israel’s right-wing National Union party):
“Israelis must learn from the mistakes of their leaders. Superficial solutions do not resolve our problems. Just as aspirin temporarily masks the pain of an infected tooth, the propagation of the false hope of a Palestinian state only prolongs the bloodshed [...]
